How Steel Horse Began

Zack Jett built Fork River Construction in 2020 with a simple but demanding standard: give homeowners the best remodeling experience possible, every single time. Over five years of remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and whole homes across the Denver Metro area, he refined a way of working that kept the homeowner at the center of every decision.

Mike Herring joined that operation as Purchasing Manager and took ownership of the logistics that make or break a build. Sourcing the right materials, coordinating suppliers, and making sure every product arrived on time and met spec became a defining part of how the team operated.

Zachary "Zack" Jett

Zack has been in residential construction for over a decade. In 2020 he founded Fork River Construction to bring a higher standard of remodeling to the Denver Metro area, focusing on attentive, process-driven work that homeowners rarely experience. At Steel Horse, Zack leads construction methodology and the client build process.
